A mix of old and new streets
Downtown Cary and the neighborhoods around it have mature trees and narrower streets, which sometimes limits where a full-size truck can park. We check access ahead of time so the crew is not carrying furniture an extra block because of a low branch or a tight turn.
Newer construction toward Green Level and the west side tends to have wider streets and driveways, which usually makes truck access simpler.
Townhome communities
A large share of Cary is townhomes with HOA rules about visitor parking and moving hours, particularly along Kildaire Farm Road and Tryon Road. We ask for those rules during the estimate and plan the truck's parking spot around them.
Guest spots fill fast on weekends, so we sometimes arrange a temporary permit with the HOA office ahead of the date.
Corporate arrivals
Cary's office parks and its proximity to Research Triangle Park bring a steady flow of families relocating in from out of state. Many of those arrive as a long-distance delivery that we receive and unload, then call us back for a local move once they buy a permanent home.
Company-paid moves typically need an itemized inventory, which we provide without being asked.
Where Cary moves usually go
Most local jobs from Cary head to Apex, Morrisville, or Holly Springs. Long-distance loads most often go toward Charlotte, the Triad, or out of state, with the truck weighed and the same crew unloading at the far end.
A smaller but steady share of Cary work is moving within town, downsizing from a house into one of the newer townhome communities, which is its own kind of job since it usually means leaving a lot behind.
Downtown parking and events
Downtown Cary hosts markets and events that close streets on some weekends, so we check the town calendar before confirming a Saturday date for anyone near the center of town.
If your street is affected, we shift the loading window earlier or later in the day rather than fighting the closure.
