Booking and timing
Give us two to three weeks where you can on a local Cary move. End-of-month dates and the weeks around the school year turnover fill up first, so book earlier if your date falls in one of those windows.
If a different company cancelled on you and you are stuck for a date, call us anyway. Openings come up more often than most people assume, and we will tell you plainly whether we can slot you in.
For a long-distance move out of the Triangle, give it closer to a month if the date is flexible at all, since a specific truck and driver need to be scheduled for the route.
Packing questions
You can book full packing, partial packing for just the fragile rooms, or no packing at all if you would rather handle it yourself. Materials can also be delivered ahead of time along with a short guide if you want to pack on your own.
Electronics are photographed before cables come out and boxed with the cords labeled, and heat-sensitive items like candles and houseplants are loaded last so they spend the least time in a parked trailer.
Pricing and estimates
Local moves are billed by the hour based on crew size and truck size. Long-distance moves out of the Triangle are priced by the weight of the load and the distance driven, with the truck weighed on a certified scale.
You get a written estimate before your date is confirmed, so there is nothing to negotiate on the morning of the move.
Move-day logistics
For apartment and townhome moves, we ask about elevator bookings, HOA rules, and parking during the estimate so those details are handled before the crew arrives, not discovered once the truck is already there.
On the day, the lead calls when the truck is on the way, walks the space with you at both ends, and confirms nothing was left behind before pulling out.

Whether we move a piece into a storage unit, load a rented container in a driveway, or shuttle a single item across Cary. All three come up regularly and we scope them the same way as any other job.
Whether pets or small children need to be out of the house during the move. It is not required, but most families find the day goes faster and safer when they are somewhere else while heavy items are moving through the halls.
